I'll keep it simple; here are twenty-six little facts about moi:
-My name is Laura Ellen.
-I love God and Jesus Christ.
-I have an amazing husband.
-I love him, too.
-I've got three precious little ones, all boys.
-The first two are fifteen months apart. The second gap is more like twenty-eight months.
-I love them, too.
-I'm beyond blessed to be a stay-at-home mom.
-I find it to be the most exhausting and rewarding job imaginable.
-I went to Texas Tech University and got my degree in English and Secondary Education.
-And yes, in my former life I taught 9th grade English.
-I love to write and read, naturally.
-I was raised in a family of seven. Four brothers, two amazing parents, and me.
-We were an Air Force family and moved a lot.
-Though I claim to be a Texan, I've lived overseas (Germany) and went to Junior High and High School in Mississippi.
-I have active SLE (lupus). It is what it is. A huge part of me and my every day life, but I refuse to let it define me.
-I've always loved to craft and "make things."
-My mother sewed throughout my entire childhood and made many articles of clothing for me.
-Oddly enough, I didn't learn how to sew until the summer of 2009 when I got my first sewing machine.
-I'm a completely self-taught sewer.
-Sewing and crafting during nap time and bedtime (when the hubby is still at work or busy otherwise) is a huge outlet for me. I prefer it to pretty much any other activity. Including sleep sometimes!
-The thing I love most about sewing is having a tangible product at the end. Something I can hold on to forever. Or pass along to someone else.
-I can't say no to a good margarita...unless I'm pregnant.
-My favorite meal is a Caesar salad, a steak cooked medium, with a baked potato.
-It's safe to say that I'm addicted to Coca Cola. It's bad. But I love it.
-Every single day I hope to be a better wife, mother, friend, daughter, and Christian.
